.
I think government's focus towards education is encouraging as latest budget allocated around Rs 21000 crore towards elimentary , higher and professional education. this allocated amount is near about 5% of our GDP , this is in order to compete with the quality professionals in world talent market. and I apprecaite this initiative
but if we see the ground reality it tells story differently....my sister-in-law is a primary school teacher at alahabad...she told me that they have not got salary for last 6 months as state gov do not have education fund.
2nd point to be noted that many pvt schools like DPS which provides quality primary education charge very high fees at such high level will discourage the parents( economically challenged but have talented child) to send to such schools.
3rd point recent survey shows that many pvt engineering , pharmacy , aurvedic colleges had empty seats as they could not get the students to fill those seats as parents do not have money for the fees.
pvt companies in education sector like educomp, NIIT, aptech also facing such problems...so how the allocted amount is to be efficiently disbursed and is realy this such whooping amount will reach to the needy is question of hr.
what is YOUR opinion for reallocation of fund and what reform is required in this sector.
